Hey Y'all! My name is Holly. I'm a southern, married girl who blogs. Unique, right? Absolutely!
I'm from Mississippi. Born & raised. I ventured out on my own once I turned 18. Since then, I have lived in Kentucky & Michigan. Now, my husband Marc & I, have settled back in my hometown. I worked retail for almost 10 years until June 2011. I said goodbye to my day job to pursue my small business dreams.
We have 3 dogs, 2 cats & an aquarium full of fish. We love all things animal, outdoors, movies, racing (ok, that one is mostly my husband!) & food. I started this blog as a way to express the things that I love doing. The main two, being reading and DIY. About 5 years ago, my husband and I, bought a trailer. Our bad credit decisions in life didn't allow us many options, but we are happy with our little home. Slowly we have been remodeling. Adding walls, taking out walls, paint, furniture, etc. I wanted a place to document all of our DIY adventures, so Project Home here on Geek Glitter was born.
I have always enjoyed reading but just here recently got into doing it again. I'm so behind on books. Tons of bloggers are always posting the new, coming out now books and I've missed years worth of past books! Because of this, I plan to share books that I read, old and new. I'm hoping to have a nice equal mix up but it really depends on my supply at the time.

- I hate mushrooms. The look, the feel, the texture... gross.
- I'm a huge animal lover. My husband finally had to cut me off at 5 critters.
- I'm not super girly but I love pink, glitter and nail polish.
- I have a pretty big obsession with owls.
- i watch entirely too much television. Favorites include: Once Upon a Time, True Blood, Dexter, Weeds, Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy & plenty more.
- My favorite movie categories are horror, drama, action and the occasional comedy/romance.
- I listen to all kinds of music. Rap, Country, Pop, etc. Favorites include: Pink, Theory of a Deadman, Avenged Sevenfold, Hot Chelle Rae, Eminem, Wiz Khalifa, Miranda Lambert & lots, lots more.
